MALIGAYANG PAGBATI! 

     Mabuhay! I'm Joshmine Reanne, also known as Jorea, from the Pearl of the Orient Seas, the Philippines. I'm a Communication Arts major student and currently studying at Saint Louis University, Baguio City.

     Since I was a child, music has always been my passion. My mother once told me that I'd rather learn Sarah Geronimo's song "How could you say you love me" by listening to it on the radio or hearing people sing it at karaoke than memorizing several nursery rhymes. I came to appreciate music more as I learned to play the piano, guitar, and ukulele as I grew up. Apart from singing, I enjoy dancing as well which I consider as my sport since I'm not an athletic. When I reached high school, I became more confident to dance compared to singing as I can join dance competitions in large groups. During senior high school, I was the choreographer for our foundation event, which went well and earned us third place.
   You might be wondering right now why I enrolled in this course since music is my passion. I never had a hectic social life as a kid. I spent almost every day at home, either playing with my neighbors or studying, since, as much as I wanted to join groups or compete, my parents were always hesitant to allow me out. To pass the time, I immersed myself in art. I paint, draw, and do anything else that has to do with colors to liven up my otherwise drab existence. I've been a Wattpad reader for six years and enjoy watching K-drama series. Books, films, and drama series, in my opinion, are all forms of art since they demand us to have a wide range of imagination and inventiveness. My talents are obtained in the Communication program, and I am optimistic that once I graduate, all of my present skills will be strengthened, and I will learn new ones.

   Communication for me is an aid for self-growth because as you keep on communicating with yourself, and with other people, you think, reflect, and learn. It is also a form of Art that allows our creative ideas, and factual opinions to happen and be heard and shared to everyone.
