New COVID-19 cases and Lockdown Updates in Baguio City

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines - The City of Baguio reported 72 new COVID-19 cases that added to the total number of active cases, 715, with no added number of deaths, 117, and 71 new recoveries as of March 22, 2021, at 6pm last Monday.


According to the city's Public Information Office (PIO), the cases were distributed with the total of, 32 contracted traced (CT), 18 expanded tested (ET), 18 symptomatic (S), and 4 others. The testing sites were held in Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center with the total of 46 patients, Parkway Medical and Diagnostic Center with 15 patients, and Bases Conversion and Development Authority with 11 patients. The city's PIO also updated the barangays on lockdown : San Antonio Village- Purok 1, Dizon Subdivision- Loro Street , Camdas Subdivision- Purok 5, Riverside and Tandang Sora , West Modern Site- Purok 7 , North Central Aurora Hill- Purok 2 , Brookspoint- Puroks 5, 6, and 7, Middle Quirino Hill- Purok 3, Block 7 , Dontogan- Garden Villa, Green Valley , Irisa-, Purok 15, St. Joseph Village, Purok 14 , Ferdinand- Purok 3 , Bayan Park Village- Purok 7 , East Quirino Hill- Purok 4, Blocks 2 and 3 , Lower Quirino Hill- Purok 1, Tabora Street, Purok 4 , Ambiong- Puroks 1 and 3 , Brookside- Puroks 1,2,3 and 7 , Gibraltar- Purok 4 . South Central Aurora Hill- Purok 4 , West Bayan Park- Evangelista Street , as of the same date at 5:00 pm.






Baguio City were one of the cities placed under Modified General Community Quarantine since Feb 27. 2021 which had been extended to March 31. The city had eased the boarder restrictions except for those leisure travelers coming from Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, Rizal, the Municipality of Pateros and the urban cities of the National Capital Region (NCR) effective from March 22, 2021 to April 4 ,2021, in accordance to Pursuant to IATF-EID Resolution No. 104, series of 2021.
