b) Main Focus of the Article

- The article focuses on how allegedly President Rodrigo Duterte ‘red-tags’ Carlos Zarate without having enough proof of judgment of his accusations. Duterte claimed that the progressive groups that represents the House of Representatives are part of a grand conspiracy. The article also showed that Duterte insisted that they were all legal fronts of Communist Party of the Philippines and are co-conspirators of the New People's Army.

c) Why was the article written in such a way?

- Based on the previous issues of Rappler for having an outspoken critic of Rodrigo Duterte, the network must have their own way of providing truth to their audiences through transparency and vulgarity. I think they are somewhat throwing shade to Duterte for having accusations against Zarate without having an enough evidence to support his claims.

- The article was written fairly telling the side of the President Duterte and the side of Zarate as well who was accused of being a member of CPP that later on he denied.
